Jávea (Xàbia) sits between two capes at the foot of the Montgó, one of the great landmarks of the Costa Blanca. The best beaches in Jávea
El Arenal: Jávea’s main sandy beach, with shallow water, a seafront promenade and plenty of restaurants. Ideal for families.
La Granadella: a pebble cove surrounded by pine-covered cliffs and known for its crystal-clear water. Parking is limited in summer, so go early.
Cala Portitxol: also known as La Barraca, a pebble cove facing the island of Portitxol, with a small beach restaurant.
La Grava: the pebble beach next to the port and the fishermen’s quarter, a short walk from the old town.
Nearby: the Cala del Moraig in Benitachell and the beaches of Dénia and Moraira are all a short drive away.

How to get to Jávea
Jávea is around 110 km (about 1 h 15 min) from Alicante-Elche airport and 115 km (about 1 h 15 min) from Valencia airport, both via the AP-7 motorway.

When is the best time to visit Jávea?
June and September bring warm sea and quieter beaches; July and August are peak season, and the Fogueres de Sant Joan fill the town with bonfires and fireworks in June. Spring and autumn are ideal for hiking the Montgó and cycling.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Our usual times are check-in from 4 pm and check-out until 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out are available on request, subject to availability: just let us know in advance.
